It’s time for a new book giveaway. I’ve accumulated quite a few good books in the last few years, so I’ll be giving away multiple books occasionally–to make room for others. 🙂

Some of these are oldies, but goodies. In other words, they were not necessarily published in 2012, but each book is new. I know the authors, and I’ve enjoyed their books. I hope you will, too! Today’s giveaway includes a novel, a novella, and a non-fiction Christmas book.

So here’s a list of the books in the Thanksgiving Multiple Book Giveaway:

1.  No Greater Love – By Kathi Mathias

2. The Key – by Debra White Smith

3. 12 Steps to Having a More Organized Christmas and Holiday Season – By Lane P. Jordan

How to Enter the Multiple Book Giveaway

In order to be entered in the book drawing/giveaway, I’ll ask you to do the following:

1. Join my blog/newsletter list which will allow you to receive my blogs by e-mail (if you’re not already signed up), usually every Monday. That will also qualify you to receive any news updates a few times a year, and let you know of any specials. (And now, when you sign up you will automatically receive 20 of my Day-votional Truths to Live By).

2. Leave a comment on this blog, letting me know why you’d like to receive these books–and what you’re thankful for this year.

The contest will run from now until Thanksgiving. I’ll announce the winner in my first blog after Thanksgiving.

This Thanksgiving–and always–I’m so thankful for Jesus, the Giver of life…and so much more! And I’m thankful for all of you. May God bless you today in ways you can’t even begin to think, or hope, or imagine.

Here’s my prayer for you:

My Prayer for You

Lord, Jesus, this is the month for giving thanks, but every day of the year is a time to say “Thank You!” For all You have done, for all You are doing, and for all You will do in the future, we thank you, Lord. Thank You most of all, for who You are. Help us to recognize Your hand and Your blessings all year long, and to live a life a gratitude, honoring You every day.

Day-votedly His,

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD or fully declare his praise? (Psalm 106:1-2, NIV).

It’s Your Turn to Comment

I would like to receive the books so that I can learn how to be closer to God and to know all that he has done for me in order to be more thankful.

I lost my 3 yr old grandaughter last year and was finding it very hard to understand the “WHY” this happened to our family. I was sad and angry all at the same time. I was trying to stay strong for my daughter but yet not coping with my own feelings. I asked God for his guidance and to help my family and I cope with our loss. I have since gotten closer to out Heavenly Father and spend more time in reading his word. I know our baby girl Angelica is with him and I am so greateful for all he has done for me and my family.

I am so thankful for my salvation of over 35 yrs. Our God has seen us thru many a dark moment, but He has always been faithful with His love, mercy & grace. My hubby & I have lost many a loved ones but what has remained is God himself holding us up and providing whatever we have needed for the moment. My hubby’s mom is currently battling Alzheimer’s disease I think the worst one to hit the human race! But we are prayerful she has found her way toward His loving arms…

I would like to receive one of these books as I am an avid reader and left most of my books behind when I came to Mexico as a missionary 9 years ago. The books I left behind have been given away. I am teaching and writing and am always looking for ideas. I am thankful for God’s protection living in a city that has been hit hard by the violence of the drug wars. God is faithful and I know He has me here for a reason.

May the Lord continue to bless, protect, and use you in His service as you minister for Him.Thanks for writing!

Who doesn’t enjoy a good book….whether it’s to relax and enjoy some good reading, or to learn and grow as a Christian. I love to read and often when I’m done with a book I pass it on to someone else. Just keep a few favorites.
I have so much for which to be thankful. But right now, with all the upheavel and uncertainty in our world, I am especially thankful that God is in control, and that He is sovereign and trustworthy.

  18. SharonRichardson on November 19th, 2012 11:33 am

The reason I would love to have a book would be to “go” on a journey through the pages of someone elses experience with the love of God working in their life. It is awesome to know we trust in Him & rejoice in another brother or sisters experience. I am thankful for my family, good health, a home & freedom to freely worship our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. There are so many that do not live in countries that can do that. I am thankful Gods word is alive & active today, & we can call upon Him 24/7. Thankful He saved my soul.
