Does God allow us to have do-overs? I’m so glad He does, aren’t you? His love is amazing, and He knows us so well. If you could have a do-over, what would you choose to change? What daily actions or positive attitudes would you take to move your life forward?
I’ve often heard that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. I discovered that firsthand on a walk through our neighborhood one year. As my husband and I rounded the corner of a nearby street, I noticed something sitting by the curbside of a home. I immediately saw beauty – garden art–in what someone else had designated as a discard for garbage pickup.
This year I wanted to share this Memorial Day Tribute with you again. Special prayers and blessings go to those of you whose friends, family members, or loved ones have given their lives for freedom. Feel free to share the names with us of those who died serving our country.
The “stuff” of life consumes us, confuses us, and clouds our perspective daily. We try to write the pages of our lives our way, but we end up with volumes of unnecessary rewrites. When we add the most important story ingredient daily, not legalistically, but with a dry, thirsty spirit, God enters, and changes us–and our story. We all need a divine appointment.
