I never intended for it to be a cover-up. It was only an innocent mistake. Several years ago I returned to my roots–in more ways than one. Yes, I’m back to brunette again. Actually the blonde was the result of a beauty salon mistake a few years prior to that: a dryer, processing gentle highlights failed to work right.

I first met Carol Kent years ago at the Christian Booksellers Association. I consider Carol a mentor as I trained with her to speak professionally. Even before I watched her walk through her family tragedy, she impressed me as one of the most godly women I had ever known or met.
Most of my blogs are devotional and inspirational pieces on Christian living, on your relationships with God and others, but all are geared to encourage the reader.
