Are you dreaming of a child-like Christmas? I am. Our tree is a little “different” this year. But it’s simple. And it reminds me to keep a child-like spirit.
It also reminds me of my “collecting” weakness from the past. 😛 A child-like Christmas is a simple Christmas, with a simple story and a simple message.
So we can recognize the god-Child who came to restore the child in us.
The God-child, Jesus, brought hope, forgiveness, joy, grace, love, and peace…
Simple things a childish heart craves…and needs.
Rest for the weary, and strength to soar…
Faith to believe and receive…
Could a child ask for more?

My Personal Prayer for You
Lord, we ask You this year for the faith of a child so we can see Christmas–and life–the way You intended. Thank You for Jesus, Your own Son, the One who came to earth as the God-child, the One who is a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father–the One our hearts so desperately need. Thank You for Christ-mas!
