Home and Family Expectations
What are your expectations for your home and family? Do you expect less messiness and more beauty? And how do you respond when you can’t see the beauty for the mess?
Here are a few ideas to help you get started:
-
How can you adjust your expectations and focus?
-
Which is more important: children (people) or a perfect home?
-
What habits can you change to make life more manageable?
-
How can you give your attitude a face-lift?
-
What tasks can you delegate to make a smoother household?
-
How can you add more beauty to your home and still find the right balance in priorities?
-
How can you find beauty in the mess?
Finding Beauty in the Home (and in the Mess)
If you need some inspiration to help you answer those questions, Day-votions® for Mothers offers you some thoughts in one of its devotions. I hope you’ll check it out.
“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart,” (1 Samuel 16:7 NIV).
My Personal Prayer for You
Lord Jesus, we want You to be the center of our home and family. Teach us to focus on You and Your priorities. Life can be so messy. Help us to find beauty in the midst of our messes. Let love be our aim, our rule, and our practice. Because love will always trump weakness.
Day-votedly Yours,
Rebecca
