HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope you had a wonderful and blessed Christmas. I woke up a week before Christmas with a stiff neck that wouldn’t move in any direction, but was so grateful when it loosened up in time to fly to spend a week with family at Christmas. We missed the snow back home, but we enjoyed a white Christmas wherever we went the last three years at Christmas. So I can’t complain.
Most of all, I pray that the celebration of “CHRIST-mas” this year brought you closer in your relationships with Jesus, family, and others. It’s been such a joy to connect with so many of you through the last few years in this blog, and I look forward to another year of sharing encouragement from God’s heart and mine.

My Personal Prayer for You
Lord Jesus, at the beginning of this brand new year, we place our regrets and our failures of the past into Your hands. We cannot change them, but we can learn from them, so forgive us and teach us the lessons only You can reveal. Show us how to press on toward the goal of knowing You and loving You more. Still our hearts that we might hear Your sweet whispers. Fill us fresh with Your Spirit, as we look to Your Word for guidance in the coming year. We look forward with excitement and anticipation as we realize that You are our Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. You are the One who will hold our hands and usher us into Your very presence daily. Give us eyes to see the possibilities that this new year holds for all of Your children. Our very purpose and joy in life is to bring You glory! May we do that this year!
Day-votedly Yours,
Rebecca
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14, NIV).
