A prayer of praise and adoration to God always starts my day on a beautiful note. Every morning when I’m getting dressed and applying makeup, I listen to praise music on my iPhone. Shortly after, I love to spend moments alone with my heavenly Father. The first prayer from my lips is a prayer of praise and adoration to God. As I speak His names and attributes, worries and anxieties fade. God clears my focus, renews my mind, and draws me close to His presence as I spend precious moments alone with Him.
Some of us may feel like Thomas, who questioned the Lord after His resurrection appearance. At times, we too, need to know that Jesus is truly real. Circumstances leave us discouraged, and we soon forget God’s work in our lives.
Christmas was the night of miracles, when the long-awaited Savior was born. The Good News of His birth has been passed down for generations–the story that never grows old. We can add nothing to that story, but there is one legend that offers a sweet twist to what might have happened on that divine night of miracles.
