It’s the season for giving, but how can you make a difference in someone’s life this Christmas? Here’s one of the best ways I know to truly make a difference:
MAKE A DIFFERENCE: SHARE HIS LIGHT
To many people, this world is still a dark place.
Danger lurks;
Pressures pull;
Illness stalks;
Death steals.
Hatred divides;
Questions come;
Confusion reigns;
Love hides.
But one thing never changes:
Jesus is still the Light of the World.
JESUS WILL SHINE HIS LIGHT ON YOU AND THROUGH YOU
No matter how dark your world seems, Jesus is still there. His love never hides. Reach out to His light. Then share His light–the message of His love, hope, and salvation–to everyone you meet this Christmas. First, start with your corner of the world–your neighborhood, your family, your friends, and your workplace. Ask Jesus how you can share His light this season.
The angels who serve God daily wear His light on their wings and glow with His presence. As we look to Him, Jesus will shine His light on us and through us this Christmas. Are you willing to brighten a dark world with the light of Jesus?
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life” (John 8:12, NLT).
MY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU
Lord Jesus, in a world that can seem dark to us at times, help us to see Your light brightly. Use us to make a difference this Christmas by not only celebrating Your light, but also sharing that light with others. Thank You for giving so much to us and for being the Light of the World. No matter what our circumstances are, we will never remain in darkness when we have You and Your light in our hearts.
