Is your faith in God struggling right now? Would you like to know more about “no matter what” faith in God? Can you make the following declaration of faith?
Just in case you want to read Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) from the Bible:
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
and the cattle barns are empty,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
We find “no matter what” faith in God when we decide to trust Him in all things–even when times of discouragement, difficulty, or despair threaten us to turn away. But one thing I have learned. God is faithful in the little things and in the big things, and each time we pass through a test or difficulty trusting Him, our faith can deepen and grow. This world is not our home, and we will experience both joys and struggles. But our faithful God will carry us through and has a far better place prepared for us with Him in eternity.
If you have never placed your trust or faith in God, may I encourage you to do so today? We’ve all seen how quickly life passes, and no one is exempt. But when we belong to Him, our future is secure. My testimony is simple; someone else might have a more dramatic experience to share. But this is how I came to place my trust in a faithful God. My life has not been perfect, but God has strengthened my faith through this journey of mine. In this post I shared where my faith began: The Day My Life Changed.
I hope my simple testimony will challenge you to take the first step in finding “no matter what” faith in God. No matter what age you are, God is waiting for you to place your trust in Him.
But to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust him to save them (John 1:12 TLB).
My Personal Prayer for You
Lord Jesus, I pray for those whose faith needs strengthening today. Help them to see You bigger, that You truly are faithful, and that You can be trusted with every detail of our lives. Make strong those who are weak and struggling to stay on top, and those who are weary of battling this world’s diseases, challenges, and struggles. Give courage to those who have never chosen to place their faith in God and who need to release their worries, cares, and lives to You. Press on them the urgency of their decision, and fill them with inner peace and joy that comes only from You–and in a “no matter what” faith in You. You are worthy of our trust and our praise. Thank You, Lord, for Your forgiveness and for allowing us the privilege of knowing You and loving You.
Day-votedly Yours,
Rebecca
