Testing brings us closer to God. Out of every bad suituation God brings out the best from it. We only need to trust Him at that time. In my dark times I met Jesus and today I thank Him for whom I am.

Jason, thank you for your comments. Testing does come to all of us. But it is truly comforting that we can count on God’s promise: He will never leave us or forsake His children. He is constantly working in us, on us, and through us to make us more like Him.

Thanks for your comments, Debi. Who can know the mind of God and His purposes? One thing we do know. Everything God does, or does allow is out of His goodness and love. And when we trust Him, He does bring good from all of it. Truly His ways are not our ways.

Your article reminds me of a verse I have been meditating over:
Psam 69:26–For they persecute those you wound and talk about the pain of those you hurt.
I’ve been thinking about a loving God who wounds and hurts. Obviously this Psalm has references to Jesus and His suffering on the cross. Suffering–wounding, hurting, is a tool that God uses to bring greater healing. Jesus is an example of that. We must be careful not to be in the category of those who persecute those who God is wounding or hurting. I don’t want to judge someone’s struggles as the fact that God has abandoned them. Perhaps they are more spiritually mature than I am and are being taken to a deeper place spiritually. Anyway this scripture goes along with your article that wounding and hurting are not necessarily all bad!
