Day – 25 King of Kings and Lord of Lords

KING OF KINGS    ROSE OF SHARON   BLESSED CONTROLLER    TEACHER    JESUS   ALPHA  AND OMEGA     MASTER

THE CHRIST   SON OF  GOD   THE VINE   THE WAY, TRUTH, AND LIFE   SAVIOUR   GOOD SHEPHERD    SON OF GOD

LORD OF LORDS    WONDERFUL COUNSELOR    MIGHTY GOD    EVERLASTING FATHER     PRINCE OF PEACE     I AM

Jesus, all authority and power has been given to You by Your Father. And one day we will share Your glory and inherit all the throne privileges of Your royal throne forever. Even now, as we approach Your throne day or night, You will welcome our request. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue will delight in confessing You as King of kings and Lord of lords.

We Are Your Children Forever

As King of kings, no gifts or tokens of our love could ever be enough for You. You never leave us standing on the front porch of Your heart. You extend Your royal scepter, and to Your children You say, “Come”—into Your very throne room! Your royal decree of love can never be reversed. We who know and love You are Your children forever.

King of Our Hearts and Lord of Our Lives

This Christmas, we celebrate and worship You as the King of Kings and Lord of lords. Truly, You are the King of our hearts and Lord of our lives. What an incredible, awesome God You are! And what a day that will be when we finally get to worship You and see You face to face!

Not Enough Space and Time

There’s not enough space and not enough time to share all the names for the Trinity: God, the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. But during this season, may the names I’ve listed in these 25 prayer blogs whet your appetite to know more—more about Him, more of His names, and all they include.

Seek and Find

Most of you will not be checking your e-mails or surfing the internet for these kind of posts. But when things settle down and the season is past, I pray you’ll take time to scroll through and meditate on these names. Do your own study. Do a “seek and find” for the names of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Speak those names back to God as you worship Him daily. Take time to praise the Lord for sending His precious Son, and spend some time thanking Him for His most wonderful names—and all they mean to you. Remember that the Lord inhabits the praises of HIs people!

What Are You Giving Jesus This Year?

Today is Christmas Day! What are you giving Jesus this year? If you’re hard up for ideas, try the gift of yourself. I guarantee, Jesus will love it!

Here are some parting thoughts for you in my simple Christmas poem:

The stockings once hung by the chimney with care,

are scattered with gifts from the tree, now bare.

But the joy from the giving still lingers there,

mixed with Jesus’ own love and our thank-you prayer.

Christmas is over? Perish the thought!

It’s not something you open, not things that are bought.

Giving life, sharing love, as heaven draws near–

Christmas is Jesus, each day of the year.  -RBJ

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS!

My personal Christmas wish and prayer for you is that you will fall in love with Jesus over and over and over again this year. Whether you live alone or with a houseful of loved ones, You are loved by God, who sent His most precious gift to You at Christmas. May the Lord bless You and Yours richly as You share His love with others every day of the year.

This is the 25th–the last–in a series of daily Christmas blogs: 25 Christmas Prayers celebrating the names of our precious Lord. I hope these simple prayer blogs will enrich your Christmas season and draw you close to the One who is the true reason for Christmas. (I’ll return to my regular, weekly blogs after Christmas).

Thank you Rebecca for taking us (your readers) on this incredible journey of knowing Him by His name(s). In every book of the Bible, an aspect of Jesus winds its way through the pages to teach us more about His love. plan and purpose for our lives. Thank you for the encouragement as I personally need to be reminded often of the Goal we are aiming for and His all sufficiency within us by the power of the Holy Spirit. What a blessing to know HIm, the Author and Perfector of our Faith. Thank you again and God bless you richly. I am getting excited about the coming year – another opportunity to be surprised by HIm, another year to become more like HIm.
